it's about raising your hand.
As the fundraising arm of the hospital, the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation provides financial support for pilot and innovative initiatives. The Foundation is often called upon to complement public funding for a variety of programs and services. Through its Capital Campaign, the Foundation enables the hospital to continually break new ground and remain at the forefront of its three areas of specialization - Respiratory Care, Palliative Care and Long-Term Care. In addition, the Foundation’s Endowment Funds make possible the initiation of programs focused on community health and illness prevention. The Foundation upholds its ongoing commitment to assist Mount Sinai Hospital Montreal in its quest for excellence.
As Mount Sinai Hospital Montreal approaches its centenary of outstanding service to the community, it is determined to continue to offer an ever-higher quality of care. From its inception in 1909, the hospital has been a pioneer in raising the standards of healthcare services. Its primary focus has always been patient quality of life. In continuing to assist the hospital in its quest for excellence, the Foundation Board has resolved to expand its Quality Care Campaign from $7 million to $25 million to support existing and future programs and services and a building expansion.
Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation oversees fundraising, gifts and endowments. Gifts to the Foundation are made through a variety of tax-deductible vehicles including cash, securities or real estate. Donors may also make highly tax-effective planned gifts to the hospital in the form of bequest provisions, life insurance or gifts of retirement plan assets.
