In order to promote quality of life for patients receiving Palliative Care, Mount Sinai Hospital offers the Make-a-Wish program. The first adult program of its kind in Quebec, Make-a-Wish attempts to fulfill the last wishes of Palliative Care patients during their stay.
The idea is simple. Patients can submit three special wishes. Something that they would love to do: be it a meal with family, an outing in the city, or a visit from a long lost friend. An interdisciplinary team will discuss the options with the patient and do their very best to grant one very special wish.
The Make-a-Wish program has been made possible through generous donations.
