Mount Sinai Hospital continually strives to enhance the quality of life of patients and their families. With a wide range of patient services and activities, the Hospital promotes the social and spiritual well being of every individual. Patients are made to feel at home with constant support from their Head Nurse and are encouraged to utilize all of the amenities at their disposal.

• Library – a variety of reading materials and puzzles in English, French & Yiddish. The library is located at B124. All items borrowed from the library must be returned. Donations to the library can be made via the Volunteer department.
• Laundry – washers & dryers are available for personal use on the third and fourth flours at no cost. To arrange for laundry service, please speak with the Head Nurse or social worker.
• Cafeteria, coffee shop and vending machines.
• Gift Shop – open daily from 11:00AM-3:00PM, except Saturday and Jewish holidays.
• The Healing Garden – a garden retreat with trickling water and greenery to be enjoyed by patients, families, caregivers, Hospital staff and volunteers. The Auxiliary has proudly pledged to help fund the maintenance of this beautiful garden.
• Hairdresser/barber service – appointments can be arranged through the receptionist on the nursing unit. Payment is made directly to the hairdresser and is the responsibility of the patient and/or family.
