In order to promote quality of life for in-patients of the Palliative Care Unit, Mount Sinai Hospital Centre offers the Magic Moments Program. Magic Moments attempts to fulfill a special wish of Palliative Care patients, and is the first adult program of its kind in Quebec.
Patients can submit special wishes – something that they would love to do: perhaps a special meal with family, an outing in the city, or a visit from a long lost family member or friend. Palliative Care staff discuss the options with the patient and do their very best to grant one very special wish.
