Out-Patient Department

Mount Sinai Hospital’s Outpatient Department (OPD) sees patients referred by their doctors for a variety of pulmonary ailments, including asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Patients may then be followed on a regular basis within the OPD, admitted to the hospital for treatment, and/or enrolled in our Outpatient Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program (OPPR).

This program teaches the pulmonary patient about their illness and helps them lead a more active and fulfilling life.
